First and foremost, we realize that a new home and/or whole home remodel may be the largest investment of your life. Our job is to lead you through the process with confidence and experience, enabling you to concentrate on the important thing, making your house a home.

An ideal custom home project starts with a team made up of architect, builder, interior designer and landscape architect. Ideally, we are all brought on before the design of your home has begun. Our construction experience enables us to price check, help with construction details and provide material recommendations during design, helping to keep a project on budget & save valuable time in the process. Don’t worry! If you already have plans, an architect, interior designer, etc., we still want to work with you. During our initial meeting we will discuss overall design, materials, finishes, timelines, and goals. 2-4 hours

Once you have decided that Soledad will be part of your team, we will complete a professional services agreement (pre-construction agreement). This will allow us to start working on your behalf. As this point we will be a point of contact for the architect, engineers and designers. We will work through the design process alongside your team, create specification documents and work with you and your architect and/or designer on finish and material selections. Typically during this process we will also provide pricing checks and alternative design options if portions of the design are beyond the budget. 3-6 months (depending on architect / designer & engineers timing)

Once the design is finalized, specifications are complete and materials are selected, Soledad will complete a final budget document. During this time, we will also assist with permitting, meet with our vendor teams on design details and finalize our RFQ’s. 6 weeks

Once pricing documents are approved we will go to contract. Upon financing & permitting approval we are ready to start construction. During this time we will also set you up on our construction software program. Log in to this cutting-edge software any time, day or night, to learn the exact status of your project. This software is proven to provide quick response times, more efficient job sites and allows for one central location for messaging. You’ll know when it’s time to approve material selections. You’ll know who you need to contact and what you need to talk to them about. You’ll know what’s been completed and what the next step will be. You’ll see the whole timeline of your project, and you’ll be able to ask questions immediately and feel confident that you’ll get answers fast. 1 week

Construction start! Moving through construction we will have weekly and/or bi-weekly site meetings depending on the stage of construction. Our team will work together to make the construction process as seamless and easy as possible. All of our preconstruction planning pays off at this stage. Once we are complete, we will do a final construction walk, address any punch list items and welcome you to your new home. 9-18 months
